His Reckless Love from Southbay to Metro to Staples

I am a first hand witness of God's love and miracles and faithfulness. In my own way, I wanted to share that to people who have yet to know their savior. On February 17, 2018, I had the opportunity to join the missions outreach team of our church to minister to the people of Los Angeles. It is a big step of faith to do this in boldness to just spread the powerful name of Jesus. I had my doubts i have to be totally honest, but God placed a magnet on my heart to draw me to this place. So I did. Every outreach I have gone to has drawn me closer to him, and it is unexplainable. I experience more fire light in my heart to just be more bold about my faith, and not fear of what the world would say because this is not about me, but about Jesus and his glory, and to see salvation in this upside down world. So we rode the metro line, but while waiting we were able to worship before our train arrived. We hopped on the train, and each of us found someone to talk to. Long story short, I had my fair share of rejection, but God said its ok. Instead of me being disappointed, I sat down in quietness and prayed. That the love of God will just hit the hearts of the people I have talked to. I asked God how can I do this? How can I talk to people that are broken? He didnt answer me till later on. I ended up just worshipping with the choir, and praying for people who were talking to the doubtful atheistic man.
In my experience with this outreach, the world doesnt realize that they need a savior They think just because they do good things it would suffice. Jesus said "I am the only way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me." What people dont realize is that Jesus is our only hope for heaven. He is the resurrection and the life. Yet this world has shut the door of their hearts to receive him. The world is afraid of being rejected by others, and it even says in John 12:42-43 :"Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.and it breaks my heart to see people live in this dark world,  and not know Jesus. I cannot wrap my head around it. Yet this is the moment i would live for. This is why i want to keep growing in my faith to show the world what it is like to be in the presence of God, and I continue to ask for prayers and God to give me more boldness to open up this whole new realm in my walk with Him. Honestly i was discouraged at some point, but in my worship God has been there, in our time at staple i saw God put a spotlight on us to be a light to that dark world.

God is so faithful. I was hanging out with one of the ladies in our team while waiting for the train back to our station. We noticed one of the guys was approached by the metro worker who boldly asked for prayers, because she is in the verge of having difficulty in her life, and just asking God back to her life. We joined them in prayer, but God used this lady to minister to us instead. I was astounded because as I have mentioned, I was discouraged, yet this lady who was just asking prayers looked at me in the eye and said do not ever be discourage because God is faithful, and that we have to continue to walk in our faith , and she said more things to encourage us. I was standing there staring, and amazed because God talked to me through this lady. We were all blessed, and blown away because after this encounter, we stood there and said to each other WOW! We were the one who were blessed. 

All I ask is prayers that God would just continue to use us in this way to spread His relentless Love, and I pray that God would use you too; You'll never know you might be the next person to do an outreach. 

Now in a wealthy home there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also ones made of wood and of clay, and some are for honorable use, but others for ignoble use.   So if someone cleanses himself of such behavior, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart, useful for the Master, prepared for every good work
