Only because of Jesus Christ - Spoken Word

I knelt on my knees and about to give up 

But when i looked at the sky i see that my King is alive

When my body fails, and my soul was weak, you made me whole and here i am made free and alive

For who am i, a sinner, and murderer of Jesus Christ

With the unforgivable sin that once held my life

But your reckless love overcame my soul, my sin, my shame, my weakness 

That i could not pay

I dont deserve this Jesus.

I looked to you and see your hands and feet and head with wounds

I told myself that’s the punishment that i would never have endured

But because of your Love and by your grace, you overcame the debt i cannot pay

So i kneel on my knees and pray, to God i will give praisw

I am saved through faith

And forgiven through Grace

Not by my will and doing

By his mercy that i do not deserve

For God so love the world, he gave his son Jesus Christ

So we may have eternal life

Jesus overcame the grave and rose on the third day

My king is alive i cried out my king is alive again i did

I once had a missing piece in my soul, but Jesus gave me back my hope

He made my shattered heart renewed and whole

Once again Jesus is alive

I looked up again and see that my King now holds my life

For this i am free and satisfied

I would not want nothing in this world,

Except Jesus the lover of my soul

To you O God i glorify

The same power that overcame the grave is the same power that lives in me 

When i let go of my self, my flesh my sin and shame

Because of Jesus I live

He gave me lips to praise,

And a heart to worship

A hand to share the love he restored in my soul

So that the world may know that Jesus is the only way the truth and the life

So that we may live one more time

So i stand with my heart open wide

To receive the holy spirit to come down and set a fire in my soul

Here i am to testify that I am once again free and Alive 

Only because of Jesus Christ
